4 color printing process CMYK.
This technology uses a combination of 4 colors in order to create tones and halftones for a high-quality resulting image.
CMYK stands for: C - Cyan, M - Magenta, Y - Yellow, K - Key/Black.
A+ level nuance
Because 6 color printing can display very precisely detailed objects, color transitions and nuances, there is once situation where it can bring out a problem with the image.
It concerns pictures, where a bright light (flashlight or other direct light) has caused an area tobe completely white or "burned", a digital image has no pixels to print in such an area. See theimage on the right.
In such a case, 6 color printing will depict this border between white and colored areas, and it will not look professional or tasteful.
That is why we do not recommend using such pictures, or to edit them to eliminate the"burned spots".
